CS Sports also cater for the non-hunter looking for an activity holiday. Many people come to us for golfing holidays and also sightseeing trips.

With Scotland being the home of golf we have access to some of the best golf courses within a short drive from our accommodation centre (The Famous Bein Inn). Some of the Championship courses on offer are St. Andrews, Carnoustie, Loch Lomond and Turnberry to name just a few. Club hire and caddies can also be arranged.

A lot of people like to visit Scotland’s castles, historic houses and gardens when on our sightseeing trips, Blair Castle, Stirling Castle and Scone Palace are just a 'stones throw' away. There is no better way to appreciate Scotland’s beautiful countryside than to let us guide you through it.

We cater for all aspects of outdoor pursuits - from horse riding to mountain biking, white water rafting to clay pigeon shooting, with many more sports on offer please contact us with your requirements.

Perth is a town in Perthshire, Scotland, which lies on the banks of the River Tay. Perth is popularly referred to as The Fair City. Perth can be accessed from Edinburgh via the M90 from the south, Glasgow and Stirling via the A9 from the southwest, Inverness via the A9 from the north and Dundee and Aberdeen via the A90 from the east.

Scone Palace, Scone, 01738 552 300
Scone is the historic crowning place of no less than 42 Scottish kings, including Robert the Bruce and Bonnie Prince Charlie. Where you can now see the Palace, built early 19th century, stood once the Abbot’s Palace. You can see a replica of the Stone of Destiny, upon which the kings were crowned.

St. John’s Kirk is the centre of the town and the oldest building in Perth, dating back to to 1159.

St Ninian’s Cathedral, not as old but none the less impressive.

The Black Watch Museum, Balhousie Castle, Hay Street, 01738 638152. Military history of the 42nd/73rd Highland Regiments. Paintings, medals, uniforms and weapons on display.

Perth Museum & Art Gallery, 78 George Street, 01738 632488 Collection of Pictish Stones, art and information about natural history, human history and archeology.

Fergusson Gallery, Marshall Place. The works of J.D. Fergusson, the Scottish colourist artist and Perthshire local.

Elcho Castle, the Rhynd, near Perth, PH2 8QQ. Built on the site of an older structure in around 1560, it is one of the best examples of it’s kind still remaining.

Game Conservancy Scottish Fair, Scone Palace. 01828 650639.
First weekend in July (3 days) Set impressively in the grounds of Scone Palace, the Game Conservancy Scottish Fair is regarded as one of the main countryside events of the year in Scotland, demonstrating the importance of game and other wildlife and their contribution to the Scottish countryside. A variety of displays (including Falconry and Terrier racing) in the Main Ring, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Gundog and Fishing Competitions on the banks of the River Tay.

Perth Farmers Market, King Edward Street. On the first Saturday of each month there is an abundance of fresh ingredients and quality products.
